ABOUT MIKE

Michael Patrum has been building custom homes in the Piedmont/Triad area for more than 25 years. He began right out of school as a carpentry apprentice and, over time, learned every skill necessary to build a house "hands on." In subsequent years, Mike worked as a superintendent for some of the largest home builders in the area managing the construction of large subdivisions in Greensboro, Kernersville and Burlington. Mike received his first NC General Contractors license in 1993 and started his own company. He has remained a licensed contractor ever since and has built (at last count) more than 120 custom homes in the Piedmont/Triad area.

Mike started his current company, Michael D. Patrum Custom Homes, Inc., in March of 2017 along with a division dedicated to remodeling and commercial construction--MDP Construction, Inc. He holds a NASCLA Certification, qualifying him to be licensed to build in thirteen states and the Virgin Islands; .and is a member of the Greensboro Builders Association and the NC Builders Association.

We build allowances into each project for items like flooring, cabinets and counters.
